Q - Is my child too old or too young for this?

A - There is NO such thing as too young! I have done numerous newborns, and they are tiny & precious & perfect. However, as kids grow, their hands get bigger, obviously, and less detailed. Typically, around age 6 or 7, the finished product ends up being too heavy and too large to be an ornament. In this case, I am happy to make it, but we end up calling it a spoon rest :) 

 

Q - How long does it take? 

A - Making the actual impression takes no time at all—maybe 10 minutes. After that, I take the clay impression home to my studio and finish the rest, turning it into a timeless treasure. After the ornaments are finished, I will notify you and you will come pick them up at the same place where me made the impressions. That total production time varies, depending on many things, such as weather and time of year.

Q - How much are the ornaments?

A - Ornaments are $40 each, payable in cash, check, or Venmo when we make the impression.

Q - Can I make more than one?

A - ABSOLUTELY! These ornaments are great gifts for grandparents, other relatives, babysitters, teachers, and special friends.

Q - How many timeslots do I need if we make more than one?

A - No matter how many children you bring and how many handprints per child, you still only need ONE TIME SLOT. ​​​
